The 2024 Chevy Traverse interior has undergone a comprehensive redesign, characterized by a cohesive and clutter-free layout centered around a new standard 17.7-inch touchscreen. This marks a substantial upgrade from the previous Traverse's 7.0- and 8.0-inch screens. Standard features now encompass an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster and six USB ports. Added luxuries such as a WiFi hotspot and a wireless phone charger are also on offer. Notably, a pass-through beneath the center console introduces additional storage space.

In terms of seating arrangements, the base Chevrolet Traverse LS trim accommodates eight passengers, a configuration also available for the LT trim. Meanwhile, the Z71 and top-tier RS variants exclusively offer seven-passenger seating due to second-row captain's chairs. Available comforts include heated front and second-row outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated side-view mirrors. Furthermore, an exclusive power-folding second-row feature, operable at the push of a button, simplifies access to the third row, found solely in the RS trim. The LT and Z71 models are eligible for General Motors' Evotex faux-leather upholstery, while the RS trim boasts leather wrapping for the first two rows.

Safety takes center stage in the Traverse, equipped with an array of advanced driver assistance technologies. Adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, reverse automatic braking, and a suite of parking cameras and sensors are among the available features. An innovative "Buckle to Drive" system is standard across all Traverse models, requiring passengers to fasten their seatbelts before embarking on a journey. Additionally, a rear seatbelt reminder prompts rear passengers to secure their seatbelts for added safety.
