Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison: Special 2019 Edition Perfect for Hard-Charging Enthusiasts
Chevy’s all-new midsize pickup was made to be taken off-road. Not only does the Colorado ZR2 Bison come with AEV capabilities, but it is also a 2019 special edition vehicle!
Chevy recently partnered with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), hence the birth of the Colorado ZR2 Bison 2019 special edition off-road pickup. AEV is known for creating high-quality off-road vehicles, so it makes sense that this partnership created a powerhouse pickup truck.
The exterior of the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison is unmatched. The grille features exclusive Chevrolet lettering while the front bumper shows off standard fog lights and winch provisions. The exterior also includes AEV-like skid plates. These skid plates are made of high-stamped steel, a fuel tank and transfer case, as well as front and rear differentials, making them highly durable.
In addition to the Colorado Zr2 Bison’s advanced exterior, this midsize pickup features an expansive powertrain. Not only is this special edition vehicle available with a gas engine, it is also available as a diesel version, too. The Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison is equipped with 3.6L V6 engine that produces 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Although the 3.6L engine comes standard, this midsize pickup is also available with a 2.8L Duramax turbodiesel four-cylinder engine. This diesel engine produces 186 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
But that’s not all – drivers have the option to purchase add-ons for the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison. These add-ons include larger wheel-well flares, AEV-badged floor mats, custom headrests, 12-spoke aluminum wheels, as well as a raptor grille.
