About the 2019 Chevy Express Van

The Chevy Express van can be found as a cargo van or a passenger van. When it is used as a cargo van, there are a lot of customizations and options depending on the type of work you are using this van for. As a passenger van, this vehicle can seat up to 15 people.

With a sturdy chassis, boxy dimensions, and a simplostic interior make it perfect for any job, whether that be hauling the family around or heading a job site. The 2019 Chevy Express Van is home to a 4.3-liter V6 base engine. This base engine produces 276-horsepower. However, there is also an optional 6.0-liter V8 engine option that produces 341-horsepower. There is even a turbodiesel engine option available for this van. The turbodiesel is a 2.8-liter inline-four turbodiesel with an eight-speed automatic transmission that produces 181-horsepower. When this vehicle is properly equipped, it can tow up to 9,600 pounds, which can be perfect for hauling supplies or gear to the worksite.

For trim levels, the Express passenger van is available in a base-level work model, LS and LT trims. The base-level comes with only the basics: vinyl seating, air conditioning, rear backup camera, standard auxiliary port, power locks and windows and a 2 speaker radio. The other two trims comes with more features such as infotainment systems, Bluetooth, remote start, rear park assist, and more. For 2019, the Express Van also gets new exterior colors and two important new options: Lane-Departure Warning and Forward-Collision Warning.

Drivers can choose from various options even on the base-level work trim. For example, if you want to add a CD player you can. The same thing goes for the van's available power accessories.

Also, according to Autoblog, “Both the Express 2500 passenger and cargo vans come standard with a host of safety features such as four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, StabiliTrak, and front, side and curtain airbags on all models. For 2019, the Express 2500 cargo and passenger vans offer lane departure warning, forward collision alert and an unauthorized entry theft deterrent system as standard equipment on the passenger LT trim and optional on the passenger LS and the cargo vans.”
