2018 Chevy Impala V-6 Now Available With Unbelievable Upgrades
With a totally revamped, ultra-quiet interior, best-in-class powertrain capabilities and handsome styling, the new 2018 Chevrolet Impala V-6 is sure to make a splash at car dealerships near you.
The Impala has been a part of the Chevy brand since 1958 when the classic Bel Air debuted. Now, the vehicle is getting a full overhaul that offers drivers the incredible power they’ve come to expect from Chevrolet without sacrificing some of the Impala’s classic flavor. You won’t find any tail fins here, but the new Impala retains the original vehicle’s clean, crisp lines and slick ride quality.
The new vehicle’s exterior design is exceptionally well-proportioned, with a long, powerful hood that sweeps gracefully downward into a windshield and sweptback roof. The Impala’s trunklid is short to disguise the insane amount of space inside–a massive 18.8 cubic feet of trunk space, which means families won’t have to sacrifice cabin space during road trips ever again.
If you want to toss a little extra spice into the new Impala’s exterior design, a sunroof is available as an optional addition.
Inside, Chevy fans will enjoy a range of luxurious features including a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, sumptuous stitched black leather, tons of head- and legroom, a rearview camera, and available wireless charging.
Best of all, drivers and passengers will enjoy a beautiful 8-inch color touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Chevy’s iconic MyLink software. The system comes pre-loaded with onboard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, voice activation, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. If you opt for the Premier Impala model, you’ll also get a standard navigation system. (The navigation system is also available to be added onto other trim levels–ask your local Chevy dealership for details.)
The 2018 Chevrolet Impala V-6 is available with a 3.6-liter 305 horsepower engine with an 18/28 mpg fuel economy rating. The V-6 is capable of 0-60 mph acceleration in just 6.0 seconds so we’re not sure why you’d ever opt for anything less. But if you’re not sure you can handle the heat, base and mid-grade Impala models are available with a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine which generates a respectable 197 horsepower.
And, of course, the new Impala V-6 wouldn’t be a true Chevy vehicle if its design didn’t place a high value on safety. The vehicle is available with a full range of active safety systems, including Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert, Rear Park Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Forward Collision Alert.
